Rivolta Carmignani at home

In Milan’s Porta Venezia district, a new space designed by Galli Cavalcabò interprets the brand’s textile savoir-faire through a concept inspired by the intimacy of home

Rivolta Carmignani has opened its first standalone boutique at Viale Piave 40 in Milan. Long associated with luxury hospitality, the brand is bringing its textile expertise into the residential sector, opening a new dialogue with private clients and interior design professionals.

Designed by Como-based studio Galli Cavalcabò, the boutique is conceived as a home to be explored, moving beyond the conventions of traditional retail. Wooden panelling, parquet flooring and intimate interiors create a domestic atmosphere in which textiles become an integral part of the architecture, expressing the brand’s identity through materials and surfaces.

The collections for the bedroom, bathroom and table reflect an approach combining material quality, meticulous craftsmanship and manufacturing heritage. The opening also marks the debut of the brand’s first Homewear collection, featuring silk dressing gowns, pyjamas and nightshirts. The Milan boutique builds on the launch of the Home Collection in 2019, expanding the brand’s direct presence in the residential market and bringing more than 150 years of textile heritage into a new dimension of contemporary living.
