Office architecture

Alis is the new Fantoni collection that combines interior design with the architectural approach of Studio Park

In the contemporary office, spaces are transformed: no longer simple workplaces, but environments that evolve, take shape and welcome. Here, furnishings become architecture, elements that define and give rhythm to the way we inhabit space. This vision gave rise to Alis, the new collection by Fantoni, a project that combines the brand’s functional, high-performance and ergonomic design with the architectural approach of Park studio, which designed the line. Operative and semi-executive desks, meeting tables, bookcases and storage solutions come together in a coherent, modular system that interacts with the environment and those who inhabit it. The surfaces are shaped to welcome and reflect light, the volumes create depth and movement, and the profiles generate a play of visual and tactile tensions, transforming each element into an integral part of the architecture.

In designing the Alis collection, Park drew inspiration from the geometries and rhythms typical of his projects, combining a marked interplay of three-dimensionality and perceptions with warm materials that emphasise comfort. The stylistic signature is the 30° cut of the surfaces, which gives character to each element, enhancing its sculptural appeal.

«Conceived with great plastic rigour, Alis stands out for its apparent simplicity», says Marco Sorrentino, Product Design Director at Park. «It was developed for a dynamic and evolving workspace. A series of objects that do not dominate the space but, with quiet and understated elegance, accompany the functions of the office world, available in a myriad of different versions». The square and rectangular tables and the meeting table (140×280 cm) respond flexibly to the needs of contemporary work, while the bench (which can be accessorised with fabric screens and cable management) optimises operational sharing.

The choice of finishes (white and oak) and materials is also rigorous and “no frills”: the tables are made with an aluminium structure covered with ultra-flexible Microflex laminate and a white chipboard top (made from 100% recycled wood) with a melamine finish. The bookcase, consisting of 2, 3 or 4 stackable modules (open or closed), features the same decorative elements, and the oak of the melamine-faced tops combines perfectly with that of the laminate legs, thanks to the synergistic work of the Fantoni group companies.

The Alis collection thus reveals itself in a formal language that combines rigour and refinement. The lines are clean but never cold; simplicity is intertwined with attention to detail, creating a subtle balance between elegance and functionality. Each element conveys an idea of modern, dynamic space, capable of changing and adapting to multiple uses. Environments where practicality meets beauty, and where aesthetics also become an integral part of the way we work and live.
