Italian flair in Shanghai

In the elegant residential complex Poly Opus One, inspired by Shanghai's historic row houses, Flexform redefines the concept of luxury living

Located in the Xuhui district, on the banks of the Huangpu River, home to museums and cultural institutions such such as the China Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Rodin Art Center, and the Shanghai Grand Opera House, the Poly Opus One residential complex draws inspiration from Shanghai’s historic row houses.

In the living area of one of the building’s upper-floor apartments, overlooking the park in front, the modular Camelot sofa is flanked by two A.B.C. armchairs with tubular metal frames, upholstered in a fine light-toned bouclé fabric. Opposite, the Magi daybed, featuring distinctive capitonné tufting, is accompanied by two Adler oak wood side tables and the Alison armchair with a tobacco-colored leather backrest. With the exception of the Alison armchair, designed by Carlo Colombo, all furniture pieces are by Antonio Citterio.
