Hospitality takes center stage in New York

On November 9th and 10th at the Javits Center, the new edition of Boutique Design New York will unfold. Design, culture, and networking on the theme of hospitality

A new appointment with Boutique Design New York (BDNY) returns, the New York event dedicated to hospitality and its key players. Two days, November 9th and 10th, will bring product design and creative installations to the stage, within the setting of the Jacob K. Javits Center, alongside opportunities for education and discussion to foster design culture and networking.
The expectation, in fact, is for «a powerful mix of design firms, influential speakers, and cutting-edge new exhibitors», as anticipated by Keisha Byrd, Vice President and Brand Director, Hospitality Design Group at Emerald, a convergence that «will shape the future of our industry».

The heart of the event remains the exhibition floor, featuring over 700 brands (approximately one hundred of which are making their debut) spanning from lighting to textiles, from furnishings to finishes for hotels, restaurants, spas, clubs, cruise ships, and residential concepts. BDNY thus aims to create a connection between companies and visitors, specifically designers, architects, developers, brand managers, and buyers seeking novelty and collaborations.

To offer new inspirations and showcase emerging industry trends, new areas and pavilions are being introduced. These include The Alchemist by Aria Group in the Dine & Design Pavilion – expanded after last year’s debut as a showcase for discovering new high-end concepts for restaurants and bars; Châlet Après by Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy and BHDM Design; The Splash Pad by DREAM Hotels and Nivek Remas; and Midnight Garden by DesignAgency: immersive environments that combine bold design and brand storytelling.

Many corollary events will also enrich the opportunities for in-depth exploration, thanks to established voices, emerging talents, and visionary protagonists. The series of meetings encompasses a range of sessions designed to address the most pressing topics in hotel design today, including wellness, inclusivity, sustainability, artificial intelligence, human-centered design, and escapism. Particular attention will be paid to the BDNY Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality Breakfast, a meeting that hosts a lively strategic discussion on the challenges and opportunities redefining the sector, organized in collaboration with NEWH and sponsored by Hudson Valley Lighting Group and Pioneer Millworks.
