Downtown Design Riyadh Vol 2

The second edition of Downtown Design returns to Riyadh from February 3rd to 6th, 2026. The event will animate JAX District, confirming its status as a fundamental fixture in the Saudi capital's vibrant creative hub. In a rapidly expanding market, it offers a dynamic platform for contemporary design

Nestled within the evocative setting of Al Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and coinciding with the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, Downtown Design Riyadh once again selects a context of profound cultural resonance. JAX District, with its vibrant atmosphere, provides the ideal backdrop for a contemporary reinterpretation of design, where history and innovation converge.

Following the success of its inaugural edition in May 2025, the fair reaffirms its mission to connect global brands, manufacturers, and emerging regional talent. This second edition mirrors the extraordinary growth of Saudi Arabia’s design market, driven by the demand for high-end interiors and bespoke solutions for the Kingdom’s luxury real estate projects and development initiatives.

Downtown Design positions itself as the epicenter of design in the region, showcasing the latest trends and innovative solutions. In partnership with the Architecture and Design Commission of the Saudi Ministry of Culture, the fair stands out as a platform for dialogue between international savoir-faire and local creativity, attracting industry professionals, decision-makers, and design enthusiasts alike.

The exhibitor selection reflects this dynamic perspective, featuring a mix of illustrious returns and significant debuts. Returning names include Venini, with an evocative installation inspired by desert light; Cosentino, showcasing its popular Art Deco lounge; Huda Lighting; Scarlet Splendour; Lasvit; Serafini; and Jaipur Rugs. The fair also welcomes new protagonists such as USM, pioneers of minimalism; Bureau of Innovation; Esther Knopfler with her international debut; Poltrona Frau; Nordic Homeworx; and THG Paris. Regional creativity takes center stage with Tashkeel from the UAE; the Strata collection by Saira Ahsan and Yousaf Shahbaz; and the “Designed in Saudi” showcase, an initiative highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to its industrial design sector.

Complementing the experience, a rich collateral program of pop-ups, creative experiences, and talks will animate the week, offering insights and networking opportunities for all attendees.
