The same understated elegance, meticulous tailoring, and aesthetic vision found in Armani’s haute couture collections are embodied in the Maison’s home line. In 2025, Armani/Casa celebrates its 25th anniversary: a special occasion to highlight the savoir-faire that has accompanied the brand’s evolution – a balance between the pragmatism of form and a penchant for decoration, between craftsmanship and absolute attention to every detail. Precious materials and complex processes give life to furniture, objects, and lighting elements, creating sophisticated atmospheres. In the new collection, these aesthetic codes are enhanced in an absolute celebration of the Armani/Casa style, enriched by the designer’s primary inspiration: his love for the lands of the Orient. This connection is expressed as much in the designs as in the techniques applied to fabrics, woods, and lacquered surfaces, in a harmonious meeting of cultures and manufacturing traditions.

In the “Inchiostri d’Oriente” (Inks of the Orient) collection, a brand icon returns: the Trocadero table, in a new version aligned with the collection’s inspiration. Its silhouette is defined by the design of the four legs, positioned to create the illusion of only two monolithic elements beneath the generously sized tabletop (240cm). The new version emphasises its sculptural design by combining two exquisitely refined oriental techniques: the Watoji Lacquer for the piano, a black lacquer finish embellished with brass wire inlays, featuring a motif inspired by the ancient Japanese bookbinding technique; and the Liquid Metal Tatami for the legs, a finish achieved with a painting technique that uses real metallic pigments to recreate the appearance of a specific metal. In this case, the effect is that of bronze, applied to a laser-engraved panel to reproduce the texture of tatami mats.”
From reinterpreted classics to new proposals, the common thread is a sophisticated elegance, which also characterises the Play coffee table collection, a new creation that enriches the Armani/Casa setting with versatility. Play, as the name suggests, is intended to be a playful addition to furnish with maximum flexibility: each structure can be positioned using whichever side is preferred as the base, and can be completed by adding the tabletop (sold separately). A distinctive feature of its design is the technique used for the corner joints, which requires no metal parts. The design of the collection also immediately inspired a coordinated bookcase, perfectly double-sided, which can be used as a room divider, combining its decorative appeal with an architectural identity, underscored by the tactile essences of the structure – in solid wenge or solid canaletto walnut, as with the coffee tables. The shelves are in black glass or covered in leather with visible stitching, as with the coffee tables: a sartorial detail of impeccable precision that underscores once again the haute couture taste of the entire line.
