Dubai Atelier

Valcucine unveils a new Atelier in Dubai, in collaboration with Merise, inspired by the Architectural Scenarios concept

Located in the prestigious Index Tower, the showroom celebrates luxury Italian design with three settings that highlight refined materials and meticulous attention to detail. The goal: to become a reference point for interior design in the United Arab EmiratesValcucine is strengthening its international presence with the opening of a new Atelier in Dubai, created in partnership with Merise, a leading name in the luxury design sector across India and the Middle East.

Situated in the prestigious Index Tower, designed by Norman Foster + Partners and a symbol of contemporary Emirati architecture, the new Valcucine space is located in the vibrant heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a financial and cultural district that brings together some of the city’s most iconic buildings.

The Atelier was conceived according to the Architectural Scenarios philosophy, through which Valcucine interprets the kitchen as part of a broader dialogue with the architectural space that houses it. The project is the result of synergy between Valcucine, Merise, and the 2+ Design studio, which has enhanced the brand’s ability to adapt to diverse contexts, maintaining a perfect balance between local culture and the universal language of design.

The double-height volume is defined by a ceiling and wall covering in bronze-colored metal mesh, designed with a refined geometric pattern. Like a suspended fabric, the mesh stretches between black metal profiles, enveloping the space in a warm and sophisticated setting. Integrated within is a technical lighting system, which the covering makes even more striking thanks to the golden reflections. The space houses some of the brand’s most representative offerings, in a succession of settings that showcase design expertise, refined materials, and attention to detail.

The first setting is dominated by a striking Logica Celata, presented in the Bar version and embellished with an exclusive Vitrum Arte customization: a golden stylization of the falcon stands out against a dark red background. A green Indian marble partition leads to the living area, where the Aerius wall unit is distinguished by the elegance of the Vitrum Velato and its delicate see-through effect. Next is the Genius Loci composition, combined with the Air Logica special element and completed by the Vitrum Tessile boiserie.

The convivial and functional central island stands out for the refined balance between glass, metal, and natural stone. Closing the exhibition path is Artematica, presented here in a sophisticated dialogue between glass, metal, and wood, completed by the New Logica special element and the Insula counter. With this new opening, Valcucine Dubai | Merise aims to be a new point of reference for architects, designers, and clients looking for refined, sustainable, and high-level interior design solutions in the heart of the United Arab Emirates.
