Total look in the night area

Poltrona Frau completes its offering for the sleeping area with a new modular system of wardrobes and walk-in closets

The DressCove Night System, designed by architect Dante Bonuccelli, is a new modular system for creating wardrobes and walk-in closets. With this new design, Poltrona Frau expands its presence in the bedroom, an area it has explored thus far through beds and accessories. The brand’s style accompanies the new system, which highlights the craftsmanship of Pelle Frau® leather combined with wood and other fine materials to create a sophisticated design that can be customized.

«Night has always been part of Poltrona Frau’s identity», says Nicola Coropulis, Poltrona Frau’s CEO. «Building on a long experience in a space of the home that is deeply linked to intimacy, the DressCove Night System represents a new step forward. For this project, Poltrona Frau drew on the expertise of its Interiors In Motion Business Unit, redefining the leather upholstery of the surfaces down to the smallest detail to ensure an innovative and comfortable user experience».

This system introduces many innovations, starting with a novel upright system that offers an alternative to traditional cabinet sides and allows for stable yet visually lighter structures. A complex, hidden electrification system runs inside the uprights or along the shelves to illuminate the spaces. The combination of technical materials, such as lightweight yet strong aluminum, with the warmth of wood and Pelle Frau® provides an important tactile and visual experience.

The DressCove Night System is highly versatile, combining walk-in and traditional closets with open or closed spaces that use transparent and opaque materials. It provides solutions with shoulders or uprights. The latter can serve as a freestanding solution for walk-in closets or as an alternative to traditional panels for closed closets with sliding or hinged doors.

The project’s standout feature is the leather finishing touches: an array of eighteen Pelle Frau® colors enriches the wardrobe, and virtually all shades from the ColorSphere® leather collection can be added for maximum customization and integration with the brand’s other collections.
