Between light and shadow

A softly shimmering surface defines the aesthetic of Moon, the new stone-effect collection by Refin. As intense as the reflection of the natural satellite itself

It’s sweet to be seduced by the magnetic gleam of the moon and its irregular form. And it is to that charm that Refin was inspired in creating Moon, honoring it even in its name. The new collection of ceramic surfaces interprets the stone effect with great sensitivity and technical skill, managing to create vibrant, shimmering shades, suspended between light and shadow, just like the lunar expanse.

An extraordinary material effect is made possible by mineral inclusions on the homogeneous background, creating an essential and sophisticated graphic, in which the luster – the shining component – enhances its depth. This special application generates, in fact, a slight reverberation that varies in intensity depending on the angle and lighting, giving the material great realism and significant aesthetic impact.

Delicate tone-on-tone variations, carefully studied, then create a soft balance for a harmonious result. It is possible to create different atmospheres with the 5 nuances of Moon, tone on tone, managing to modulate not only the light, but also the emotional aspect transmitted.

The pure white of Shine illuminates refined environments, the soft ivory tint of Glow interprets warm and welcoming interiors, the light gray of Eclipse adapts to all modern spaces, the sophisticated taupe of Twilight creates enveloping atmospheres, and the bold and intense Dark is ideal for exclusive luxury contexts. A palette of colors in a matte finish capable of creating different atmospheres, just as the phases of the moon transform the night sky into variable shades. The sense of exclusivity and refinement also touches the proposed formats, making Moon versatile, not only for every type of context, from private to collective, but also for composing scenographies of character.

The 30×60, 60×60, 60×120, 120×120 formats allow for both floor and wall installation, perfect for modern projects as well as more classic styles; the 80×80, with its measured proportions, facilitates application and reduces installation times, contributing to a perception of continuity and spaciousness.

Finally, the 30×30 mosaic allows for further decorative and functional possibilities to enrich any environment. Making Moon even more fascinating is a moderate variation in color and veining, designed to recreate the imperfection and richness of natural materials.
