Like a super yacht, but under 500 GT

Transparency, spatial and visual fluidity in and out, and above all, modularity in the layout. With the novelty of the owner's cabin positioned at the bow on the upper deck. The new model Oceano 52 of the Mangusta line remains under 500GT but challenges superyachts

Length Overall: 51.1 m
Beam: 9.2 m
GT: < 499 GT
Main engines power: 2 x MTU 12V 2000 M86 1700 HP @ 2450 RPM (1268 kW)

Guests: up to 12

The name itself is already expressive, Oceano. Designed to navigate in any latitude and on any sea, in the most comfortable and safe way for long journeys. The Mangusta series of displacement yachts, consisting of Oceano 39, 44, 46, and 50, was created from the close and established collaboration between the Overmarine Group’s Engineering Office and Alberto Mancini for the exterior and interior design. While at the recently concluded Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), the Mangusta Oceano 44, presented by the Italian shipyard as the US Premiere, was awarded the 2024 Best of Show Award, at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, the preview presentation of the Mangusta Oceano 52 confirms the success of the Mangusta yacht family and the goal to propose innovation within the family.

“Oceano 52 stands out for strong choices, with clear and clean lines that outline the proportions and forms of a mega yacht that, in the water, expresses an authoritative, important, and fascinating presence, appearing as a yacht that seems much longer than 52 meters,” says Alberto Mancini.

In addition to the construction and aesthetic features expressed in previous models, which allow a constant visual connection with the sea, large livable indoor and outdoor spaces, and maximum movement fluidity, the Mangusta Oceano 52 is designed to offer spatial and functional flexibility and modularity across all decks while remaining under 500GT, customizable as a one-off project that centers on the owner’s needs and requests.

The most significant innovation in terms of layout is the placement of the owner’s suite on the upper deck facing forward, “A deck above the rest,” a vast indoor and outdoor area entirely private with full-height windows, a 180° view of the horizon, and an outdoor deck with the Mangusta Signature infinity pool.

From here, stairs lead to the main deck’s patio lounge, which can fulfill various functions. Large windows also illuminate the main deck with natural light, where in the aft area, the ‘trunks’ have been moved outside to eliminate physical and visual obstacles. Two guest/VIP cabins are located in the spot of the owner’s suite, in a privileged position, and another 4 guest cabins of different compositions are found in the lower deck. The first unit of Mangusta Oceano 52 is already under construction at the Overmarine Group shipyard in Pisa, with delivery scheduled for 2027.
