Collectible Forever

Curated by Pablo del Val, Artistic Director of Art Dubai, the first edition of Editions is integrated into the Downtown Design fair and showcases a wide selection of galleries, design studios, and collectives

Created by the Art Dubai Group, Editions debuted this year to expand Dubai’s cultural offerings, highlighting works that are underrepresented in the region. As the only platform in the Middle East dedicated to high-quality, limited edition works at variable prices, the fair aims to make art and design more accessible, creating new opportunities for the public to engage with contemporary creatives.

The fair hosts exhibitions from regional and international centers, with participants from the UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, and international representations from Germany, Colombia, Italy, Lithuania, and France.

Editions features a diverse roster of exhibitors, including leading designers and galleries working across various media, from prints and contemporary design to photography, ceramics, and works on paper. The selection includes functional objects that emphasize form and innovation, such as custom sculptures, alabaster lighting, bespoke furniture, and collectible glass and stainless-steel pieces. The ceramics section offers clay vases, stoneware, and porcelain, while works on paper explore techniques like collage, watercolor, and charcoal. Prints include lithography, monotype, and serigraphy, while photography highlights the artistic and narrative versatility of the medium.

Pablo del Val stated, “We envision Editions as an inviting space where culture enthusiasts, whether collectors or curious newcomers, can explore, connect, and discover works that resonate with their tastes. With a strong local presence, with over 50% of exhibitors from Dubai, we aim to tell the evolving story of the city’s contemporary culture, building a community-focused platform that offers space and opportunities for emerging talents.”
