“BDNY has become synonymous with innovation in hospitality’s boutique design sector, offering a unique platform where creativity meets business,” said Keisha Byrd, Vice President and Brand Director, Hospitality Design Group at Emerald, the event organizer. “This year, we’re excited to introduce even more interactive elements, Designed Spaces, and leading-edge products that will fuel the creativity of our attendees.”

The event will feature four special areas, each commissioned from a different design studio: Serendipitous Encounters (Blur Workshop), Salone (Baskervill), Sobremesa (Curioso) and Hidden Gem (Parker-Torres Design). Four “Concept Rooms” which will host panel discussions on top-of-mind topics.

Debuting this year on the trade fair floor is the Dine & Design: A BDNY PopUp, an innovative fusion of dining and design specially targeted to high-end, front-of-house restaurant and bar design. This vibrant area, anchored by Café Hue, an active café space envisioned by Jessica Gidari, will showcase a wide array of curated products, including furniture, tableware, uniforms, branding items, lighting, flooring, and more. A vibrant spot that will offer attendees a space to connect and network over light fare, with coffee and wine service available throughout the day.

These include the two evenings of the Platinum Circle Awards Gala (hosted by Hospitality Design magazine – November 8, The Lighthouse at Pier 61) and the Gold Key Awards (presented by Boutique Design, November 11, Cipriani 42nd Street).
