Jali is a rug for outdoor and indoor use made completely by hand in Twiggy or Twitape yarns. These are exclusive materials from Paola Lenti, Twiggy is a yarn for external use produced with threads in the same colour or different colours, Twitape is a material for exteriors produced combining different coloured threads together, in both cases, yarns and materials, are encased inside a flat, thin transparent membrane. The woven rug created using this process is finished with zigzag stitching and a fringe all around the edge. The company has always been distinguished by its experimentation with raw materials, research into the performance of yarns and extensive colour research that has enabled the creation of a vast range of exclusive technical fabrics, specific for outdoor use.
