Ethimo’s outdoor in Paris

After the success of the Sling chair and the Bulbi vase collection, the collaboration between Ethimo and Studiopepe continues, introducing at Maison&Objet the Tetide and Pangea outdoor rug collections

The design of outdoor spaces has become increasingly sophisticated in recent years, with new products and materials that create functional and pleasant outdoor spaces. In this context, Ethimo presents at Maison&Objet in Paris, a collection of rugs designed for outdoor spaces by Studiopepe. The two new rugs, Tetide and Pangea, are characterized by a sophisticated weave that suggests a three-dimensional effect of the yarn and original geometric patterns enhanced by warm and intense colors. Inspired by tribal signs, the patterns tell stories and create a contact with a primal and pristine nature. Geometric elements such as zigzags, stripes and diamonds are reinforced by the three-dimensionality of the fiber and the weave.

Tetide, with its zigzag motif, is available in Moka and Algae Green colors, while Pangea, with its distinctive diamond pattern, features a bright Garnet Red color. Both rugs are available in the size of 200 x 300 cm. Each rug is made of polypropylene, with great attention to every detail to ensure optimal outdoor durability.

The presentation of the Pangea rugs at the Parisian fair represents a further evolution of Ethimos interpretation of outdoor space, which is increasingly vital in residential and commercial design, and underlines the brands expertise in creating complete and comfortable outdoor environments. This path was already traced with previous collections, such as the Cosmo shading pergola, designed by Studio AMDL Circle, which beautifully adapts to any landscape, creating a private outdoor space reminiscent of home environments.

Moreover, the interpretation of the human nest, beautifully represented in Marco Lavits Hut project, a spacious lounge bed, made of Accoya® wood, able to offer a place of rest and regeneration that protects and comforts at the same time.

In response to the growing appreciation for outdoor living and the consequent market demand, Ethimo suggests with its Out-Fit outdoor gym, designed by Studio Adolini, a new outdoor lifestyle. It is a structure made of teak and metal, equipped with a range of bodyweight exercise equipment, promoting the search for balance between physical and overall well-being, perfectly balanced between design and functionality.

Phil by Ethimo, design Gordon Guillaumier

Also, Phil by Gordon Guillaumier emphasizes the concept of conviviality outdoors, offering a simple and creative approach to outdoor cooking. Combining unconventional design and a ‘nomadic’ aspect, Phil is adaptable in any context, even small ones. Its in fact capable of bringing a wide range of culinary techniques even to a porch, a patio, a terrace, a pool edge, or an urban balcony.
