Two directors, one direction

After the collaboration that began at Salone del Mobile 2022, an official partnership between Effebiquattro and Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez as the brand’s artistic directors

Effebiquattro, an Italian leader in the field of doors for interiors, has announced the appointment of Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez as art directors, two designers well known for their conscious approach, to safeguard the relationship between people, places and products.

The choice is a natural continuation of a relationship launched with the studio last year for the project Essenze, the new series of modular solutions for domestic spaces, presented in a preview during Salone del Mobile 2022 and followed by the second chapter of the collection, Light, last year.

“We are very pleased with this partnership, because our ways of working are very similar,” says Giovanna Barzaghi, at the helm of the company with her sister Simona and their father, the founder of the company, Mario Barzaghi. “With Thun and Rodriguez we have immediately found common ground, based on a single passion: the use of wood.”

“For over 45 years Effebiquattro has constantly been on the lookout for new trends and solutions, making use of the latest technological innovations,” Antonio Rodriguez adds. “In the wake of the success of the Essenze project, we have been invited to reinforce and redefine the catalogue, revamping the overall image of the company in collaboration with the studio of Elena Pelosi for the graphic design and corporate identity.”
