The Alu+ shower system by Ideal Standard combines design, technology and sustainability. For a spa experience

Color, sustainability, functional quality. These are the ingredients that go into Alu+, the new shower system by Ideal Standard that brings a new idea of wellness into the bath environment thanks to a careful combination of refined design and cutting-edge technology. With its aesthetic originality, Alu+ responds to contemporary trends that put the accent on the most fascinating and dynamic aspect of the bath zone, no longer seen as a merely functional area of the home, but as a 360-degree wellness space, to be enjoyed like any other location in the house.

Alu+ dresses up in contemporary design, formulated by the forceful rectangular lines of the mixer, and the circular shower head and handheld spray unit. These characteristics are accentuated by a color range of three shiny metal finishes – Nero Seta, Rosé and Silver – permitting creation of appealing combinations with the bath furnishings and the surrounding surfaces.

This expressive flair also contains a sustainable spirit, since the Alu+ collection is made with aluminium composed of 84% recycled materials, ready to be recycled in turn, completely free of chromium, lead and nickel. The plastic parts are made with high-performance polymers, meaning that the water can never be contaminated by harmful plastics. Finally, the whole product range stands out for its water-saving technology: the flow regulators limit consumption to just 8 l/min for the handheld unit and 12 l/min for the overhead shower.

The versatility and practicality of the collection are central features of its identity. Alu+ includes coordinated shelves and beauty bars, with mirrors and surfaces of different sizes, available in the same three colors. The handheld spray and the extra-large rainfall shower head offer two different flow modes: regular and SilkRain, which emits extra-fine water drops to create a true spa experience.
