A full-fledged debut in the corporate and, more generally, consumer world. For ten design studios, the chance to exhibit in the prestigious Design Supermarket at La Rinascente, Milan, represents all this. An effective springboard, an opportunity to confront themselves with the general public, after having passed the meeting with professionals. In fact, these ten studios were selected by Rinascente from among the 550 participants under 35 who exhibited at the SaloneSatellite 2023 in April, in the wake of an initiative that has been repeated for nine years and that confirms a solid collaboration between the Milan Piazza Duomo Flagship store, the SaloneSatellite itself and the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
The display on the -1 floor of the departement store, therefore, shines a spotlight on young talent and their creativity, which responds to the themes of reflection proposed this year by Marva Griffin – education and the challenges of the future. Products that will be on sale until November 6.

Éclipse Atelier by Aleksi Remsu
Allca Rugs
Aleksi Remsu is a product designer and sculptor living and working in Helsinki, exhibiting Èclipse Atelier, a limited edition of wall sculptural tools based on tensile structure and simplicity.
Carpet Sun, Carpet Espiral, and Carpet Mindset, on the other hand, are the creations offered by Allca Rugs, a rug brand based on conscious design: in fact, each piece is unique, woven from recycled plastic waste from rivers and seas.

Lo-Ve by Davide Apolloni
It is followed by the Infinity light sculpture, part of the Infinighty collection presented at SaloneSatellite by Andreína Raventós: handmade light sculptures that enhance the imperfections of the human process.
Italian Davide Apolloni, on the other hand, offers the Lo-Ve table, whose design comes from the still image of the sinuous movement of a dancer, wrapped in her voile cloth.

The Story of the Line by Xinshi Design
And again, Cypriot architect Ntaiana Charalampous brings to the stage the Snap armchair, an example of how design can elevate a functional object to a work of art. The cushions are upholstered in Loro Piana fabrics intended for men’s suits and purchased during a clearance event for the Milanese brand.
The Story of the Line is Xinshi Design‘s project, inspired by the sinuosity of the curl, a mix of humor and elegance that crosses cultural boundaries.
Sibi by Egoundesign
Coma & Hielo by Zara Adler
Egoundesign, a Bologna-based studio specializing in three-dimensional printing, responds to contemporary living with Sibi, a multifunctional unit consisting of a seat, table, and container, for indoor and outdoor use.
Finally, Zara Adler moves along the path of experimentation with waste materials, creating objects that challenge the senses and interact with the user. They bear her signature Coma, a 3D-printed translucent fruit bowl that radiates soft light, and Hielo, a 3D-printed object that can be used as an occasional side table or turned upside down and used as a dry vase.
