Kelly, feminine character

Emmanuel Gallina designs a light and sinuous bedroom composition for Poliform that offers a new interpretation of comfort as much as of the company's design harmony

The sense of measure emerges as the common thread of Poliform‘s bedroom collections. A refined balance between form and function, a linear aesthetic capable of easily triggering dialogues between large systems and the most versatile complements, an atmosphere of lightness such as to encourage relaxation and intimacy. In the design of its ideal Home, Poliform devotes ample space to the sleeping area, a harmonious counterbalance to the living scenes whose elegant contemporaneity it replicates. The Kelly bed appears as the perfect symbol of this living philosophy, thanks to its singular, feminine. Sinuous and sensual in its lines, graceful in its procession into the sleeping environment, graceful in its role as the protagonist of the room.

Designed by Emmanuel Gallina – a long-standing collaboration of the company – the Kelly bed stands out among the many proposals of the night line for its slender solid wood base, which can also be upholstered in fabric or leather, on which the soft upholstered bed frame is grafted, literally embraced by the enveloping headboard: this curvilinear detail on the sides of the composition connects the combination of distinct elements and finishes of the structure, defining the stylistic signature of the whole.

Soft to the touch but even to the eye, Kelly makes the quality of the upholstery an additional strength. The headboard, also available with two different finishes for inside and outside, is even more precious in the variant with a fashion-stealing Nubuck or Silk woven leather interior.

Accompanying this proposal are the chest of drawers and nightstands, part of the collection of the same name. The stylistic features that guided the design of the bed return in the form of complements: delicate, curved profiles, perfect ovals that are the result of craftsmanship. Available with feet or standing on the floor, Kelly complements are emphasized by fine finishes, such as walnut gold for the frame and fronts, champagne metal for the feet, and zecevo marble for the top. The Kelly collection gives life to modern and refined settings, under the banner of a consistent and recognizable taste. In tune, then, with the company’s language and its vision of timeless elegance.
