Vondom's outpost in Central America

The Spanish brand specialising in outdoor and indoor furniture has opened its first store in Mexico City, a gateway for designing exclusive spaces in Latin America

The commercial expansion strategy of Vondom, a Spanish company active for more than 10 years in the design furniture sector, marks a new milestone with the opening of a showroom in Mexico City. The new store opened in the Mexican capital follows those that have taken place over the years in New York, Shanghai, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto and Valencia.

The lowest common denominator that unites all Vondom spaces around the world are the interiors characterised by a Mediterranean aesthetic that evokes calm and serenity. Sustainability, elegance, avant-garde and formal cleanliness are the key words that distinguish the design philosophy of Vondom showrooms. All decorative choices, from the selection of materials and colors to the selection of furnishings and accessories, are made to reflect and emphasize these characteristics.

The new Mexican store, where the same atmosphere can be felt, is no exception. A splendid access staircase surrounds the large windows that accompany visitors inside the store, a large open space – over 900 square meters – that presents the best of Vondom’s production to the South American public.

The interior of the showroom-where the Spanish brand’s latest collections and best sellers are displayed, signed over the years by international designers such as Fabio Novembre, Stefano Giovannoni, Eugeni Quitllet, Ora Ïto, Ross Lovegrove, Karim Rashid, and Javier Mariscal – were designed so that each area had its own personality, without losing the harmony of the whole.
