Mediterranean flavor

Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg have updated their collaboration with a new collection of small appliances: Blu Mediterraneo

The colors, atmospheres and landscapes of the Mediterranean come alive in the new collection of small appliances created by Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg. “Blu Mediterraneo” made its official debut in the showroom of Dolce & Gabbana Casa in Milan, on Corso Venezia, with a special display that combined the new developments from Smeg with the famous home collection of the fashion brand.

As in the fabrics and furnishings, so the small appliances of the “Blu Mediterraneo” line make direct reference to the intensity of the sea: the purity of white and the depth of blue adorn the Smeg products with patterns that link back to Sicilian ceramics.

The fantasy pays homage to the fine craftsmanship typical of Made in Italy, translated into items that also bring Italian character to the table. A toaster, a kettle and a citrus squeezer are the protagonists of this new raiment, together with a coffee grinder, an espresso machine and a milk frother – true new entries in the range of creations from Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg.

A revolutionary combination that from the outset has created a new perception of appliances: no longer just equipment, but true art objects. The new Blu Mediterraneo collection is now available at the Dolce&Gabbana Casa boutiques and Smeg stores.
