New developments at the Spring Edition of imm

The most important German fair in the furniture sector is evolving in a new Spring Edition, held in Cologne from 4 to 7 June

imm cologne presents a new edition, held as always at the Cologne Fair, but in the springtime rather than January, welcoming the international design community from 4 to 7 June 2023. The next appointment will be extremely effective for networking, thanks to top international exhibitors, a special focus on sector professionals and a concentrated schedule.

Besides being a platform for exclusive business opportunities and inspirations, the fair stands out for its ability to create networking potentialities for the world of interior design. Leading companies present their furnishing solutions, while a versatile program of events generates many moments for exchange and in-depth updating. The exceptional Spring Edition of imm will be an intensive meeting point, marking the first step of renewal for imm cologne, which starting from 2024 will return to its normal January schedule.

The Spring Edition of imm will see the debut of the concept Pure Galleries, an innovative display format for high-end design, taking visitors into the atmosphere of an art gallery. “The aim is to further strengthen the intersections between inspiration, networking and business, especially with the new trade fair format, Pure Galleries. In an architectural context resembling an art gallery, the spaces of the single brands will open up new vistas for sector professionals. The furnishings on view and the presentations will be immersed in settings of various kinds,” says Bernd Sanden, Director of imm Spring Edition. Inside minimalist, personalized stands, industry leaders like Artisan, brühl & sippold, BW Bielefelder Werkstätten, Christine Kröncke, COR Sitzmöbel, ex.T Giulio Tanini, Freifrau, Janua, Jori, Kettnaker, KFF, Klöber, Label, Leolux, miinu, Montis, müller möbelfabrikation, raumplus, Rodam, Scholtissek, Schönbuch, Signet and Werther will stage their ideas of interior design.

In the three theme areas Home Sleep, Home Settings and Home Scenes, the Home exhibition segment provides various business opportunities, with décor solutions that put the accent on lifestyle. Home Sleep features innovative products and concepts for restful slumber, Home Scenes launches stylistic trends for greater comfort in domestic spaces, and Home Settings takes a look at young living solutions at affordable prices. The Home segment, accounting for the largest quota of consumption, has been updated with the Interior Platforms format, where open, compact booths encourage people to visit. The exhibitors revealing innovations and their latest collections include prestigious names like Furninova, Knudsen, Koinor, Nouvion, Voglauer and Wimmer. Thanks to the presence of group initiatives arriving from China, Taiwan, Romania, Ukraine, Indonesia, Latvia, Turkey, Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina, a visit to the imm Spring Edition is transformed into a voyage of discovery of international furniture markets.

The extraordinary edition attracts sector giants and buying groups. The strong appeal of this special edition also extends to visitors: the imm Spring Edition includes participation of commercial partners like Alliance, Begros, El Corte Ingles, Ikea, EMV, Garant, Home 24, Möbel Märki, Ostermann, Porta, Segmüller, Wayfair, XXXLutz and Zurbrüggen. The German buying groups will be on the front line, together with major furniture centers and many interior designers who have already confirmed their participation.
