Cassina opens in Los Angeles

Located in Los Angeles, in the heart of West Hollywood, along North Robertson Boulevard, Cassina’s new space is the Italian brand's largest shop in the world

Unmistakable even from a distance thanks to the large logo, which stands out on the façade of the building. The new Cassina flagship store in Los Angeles was completed by Patricia Urquiola, the company’s designer and art director, and is spread over two floors, covering an area of approximately 1,200 square metres, and presents the best of Cassina’s creations, highlighting the values of authenticity, quality, innovation and manufacturing excellence that have always distinguished the company for almost 100 years.

“We are very happy to open the largest Cassina Store in the world in Los Angeles and to share our unique vision of the home with the American public. This important step would not have been possible without DIVA Group, with whom we have enjoyed a strong partnership for fifteen years,” comments Luca Fuso, CEO of Cassina. DIVA Group, the company behind Cassina Store Los Angeles, is a long-standing retail partner with a portfolio of European luxury contemporary design brands. Founded by Stephanie De Oliveira and Philippe Rousselin, DIVA is proud of its established partnership with Cassina and will use the new shop as a space to welcome both end users and the community of architects and designers.

The shop’s interior reflects the brand’s philosophy of ‘The Cassina Perspective’, a unique vision of the home, presenting an eclectic collection in which products with an innovative soul and Modern icons dialogue to create complete, warm and inviting atmospheres. Architectural elements and metal screens have been used to delimit and mark out the different zones, and materials such as the wood of the boiserie panels give the space a sense of warmth that is also emphasised by the selected colour palette. Shades of grey, petrol, terracotta, golden yellow and burgundy harmoniously envelop the furnishings and further reinforce the visual language of the store.

Within the shop’s layout, authentic editions of the Cassina iMaestri Collection, such as iconic furnishings signed by Vico Magistretti, Gio Ponti, Gerrit T. Rietveld, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret e Charlotte Perriand, stand alongside pieces designed by renowned designers such as Michael Anastassiades, Antonio Citterio, Rodolfo Dordoni, Gaetano Pesce, Tobia Scarpa e Patricia Urquiola.

Each masterpiece, meticulously produced in Italy, is a combination of manufacturing excellence and timeless elegance. Moreover, thanks to Cassina LAB, the path created in collaboration with POLI.design of the Milan Polytechnic, the products respond to a more conscious design philosophy through the use of circular materials and wellness functions.
