De Rerum: a new brand to experiment with design

On the occasion of Milan Design Week De Rerum makes its debut in the world of design. A new brand that is young, experimental and above all versatile

There is a new brand in the design scene, it is called De Rerum, and it is distinguished by its versatile and experimental nature. It is a brand born by architects and designed primarily for architects. The idea is in fact from the Milan-based studio Atelierzero, active in the residential sector with a tailor-made approach. From this deep expertise takes shape the design of customizable interior collections, designed for people so that they can interact with them and easily integrate them into their daily rituals. So lamps, mirrors and tables with modular and customizable design in terms of shapes, materials, dimensions. In a marriage of technique and minimal aesthetics.

De Rerum, lampade

De Rerum, lampade

Like the Latin work from which it is inspired, Lucretius “De Rerum Natura,” the brand in its most intimate philosophy intends to investigate “the nature of things“: the components that give them form, their function, the expressive result they can achieve, the meaning they take on within living. But also how they evolve in relation to their users. This is why all the collections are versatile and transversal in their use and purpose. But even sustainable: De Rerum products are made without the use of glues and thanks to screwing systems

De Rerum, tavolo

De Rerum, tavolo

De Rerum presents its first collection inside the new exhibition space on Via Camillo Golgi in Milan. A synthesis of his thinking materialized in a collection of tables, mirrors and lights.
A silent work or convivial surface: this is how the new table presents itself, characterized by a wide top available in marble, wood or glass with a rigorous shape and rounded corners. A highly textural surface supported by slender wooden legs

Simple shapes and color fields frame De Rerum mirrors: a composition of ordered geometries within a fine block of worked marble. Minimal in aesthetics, they enrich even the most complex spaces.

Geometries of light, on the other hand, define the lighting proposals: wall lamp in round and dome versions, enveloped in a wide selection of materials (marble, wood mirrored or lacquered paint) for a range of the most varied configurations and combinations; dome table lamps, like small domestic sculptures, act as spokesmen for a sophisticated atmosphere of intimacy; pendant lamps accentuate the minimalist expression of the line, available in round and dome versions and in different types of marble, wood and mirrored or lacquered paint.
