Restful slumber “à la française” by Tréca in Milan

In the design capital, a new single-brand boutique for the French brand

Via Larga, one of the most central locations in Milan, at number 9, is the site of the new single-brand boutique of Tréca, the French brand of premium beds made with fine craftsmanship since 1935, the year of the company’s founding.

The store, with three windows on the street, is organized on two levels and welcomes visitors into an appealing, exclusive atmosphere, presenting the most prestigious creations of the maison. The decorative elements of the store, rigorously in a minimal style, set the stage for the products that convey a sense of manufacturing excellence, nurturing the art of restful slumber “à la française.”

Unlike the firm’s other main boutiques, as in London and Paris, the Milan showroom reflects the international character of its design, with elegant wood paneling on the walls.

The choice of Penta lamps, Porada tables and soft carpets exclusively made for the occasion, together with a theatrical lighting system where the LEDs placed in circles over each bed project refined games of luminosity, contribute to the idea of being in a true “chamber of wonders.”

The store hosts six models of beds and four collections of mattresses: at the entrance visitors are greeted by the Margot bed designed by Quaglio Simonelli, with the Impérial collection of mattresses and topper, followed by the Couture collections with ample padding, Paris in noble and natural materials like camel’s hair, linen, silk and cashmere, and finally Platinum, again in camel, linen, silk and cashmere, joined by bamboo viscose and horsehair.

The arrangement of the items is functional for the space, with four beds on the main level – Margot, Diamant, Cube Wide and Adonis and two on the lower floor, Mellow and Tournelle.
