The meta-luxury of Visionnaire arrives in Warsaw

The furniture and design brand opens its first flagship store in the Polish capital

It has become customary for the major luxury brands to open stores in the historical centers and cultural zones of the cities of reference for their markets. Along these lines Visionnaire, founded in Bologna by the mother company IPE and a Benefit Company (a type of business whose mission is not only profit, but also to have a positive impact on the society and the biosphere) since 2021, has announced the opening of its first flagship store in Warsaw.

Operating in over 55 countries with more than 30 single-brand stores and a network of department stores and multibrand retailers all over the world, Visionnaire reinforces its presence in Europe with an important step forward in a rapidly growing market – that of Poland – that has always appreciated the timeless style and quality of its products.

In a strategic location at the center of the city, in the Śródmieście zone, the new Visionnaire facility is organized on one level with an area of 300 sqm, inside a heritage building dating back to 1865. Designed by the architect Julian Ankiewicz, the building now contains shops and restaurants in one of the liveliest districts of the city.

The showroom is the result of partnership with Marek & Marta Cimke, reference points for the luxury design sector in Poland and founders of the company Luxarte. Its refined elegance reflects respect for the typically mid-European genius loci: 8 show windows face Aleje Ujazdowskie, while a large internal courtyard has been set aside for entertainment activities.

The space with its contemporary flair presents the pieces of the latest collections of Visionnaire: from the living areas Babylon Rack, Ca Foscari by Alessandro La Spada and Bastian by Mauro Lipparini, to the bedroom zones of Ca Foscari and Ultrasound, all the way to a selection of art design items like the Lego console and the sculptural Sputnik appliques by Draga & Aurel.

To recreate the enveloping, relaxing atmosphere of the production of the maison, the rounded walls of the individual spaces bring out the visual impact of the vaulted roofing of the historic site, underscored by LED lighting systems.
