Vondom Los Angeles: the outdoor kingdom

The Spanish brand has opened a new showroom in Los Angeles, presenting the latest collections and a brand philosophy based on open-air wellbeing

The new Vondom showroom in Los Angeles presents all the latest outdoor offerings in a compact space that reflects a precise philosophy: glamour in essential forms, innovation, and the culture of outdoor living. An area of 260 sqm on a single level, facing the very central Melrose Avenue, for a constellation of solutions that not only make moments of living en plein air pleasant and relaxing, but also create a distinctive lifestyle “designed by and for dynamic, innovative and curious people,” as the brand puts it.

Many international creative signatures have contributed to formulate the Vondom universe, on view in the new store: Ramón Esteve with the collection The Factory, Vineyard and Faz (the cot is a new entry), Marcel Wanders with the Suave line of upholstered furniture, Eugeni Quitllet with the Wall Street seating, Teresa Sapey with the iconic Adan vases, or Stefano Giovannoni & Elisa Gargan with the sculptural Stones collection, emphasizing the bond with the world of nature.

New items on view include outdoor carpets made with recycled plastic: very durable products for outdoor use (they stand up to temperature changes and weather), stemming from a focus on sustainability that has always been an earmark of the firm. The carpets are woven with plastic fibers recovered from the oceans: more than 130 bottles for every square meter of carpet.

Inside a white, light and elegant work of architecture, the Vondom collections stand out for their expressive value, encouraging “open air” living all year round.
