Boffi|De Padova: renewed interest on the Asian market

The Italian brand opens its second store in Hong Kong, in the Causeway Bay district, not far from the first showroom

Design Made in Italy is coveted because it conveys emotions, elegance, character and identity. Especially in the Orient, where the market is constantly growing and reviving its force after the pandemic. Boffi|De Padova, in fact, has announced the opening of a second showroom in Hong Kong, in partnership with Kitchen Infinity, not far from the first facility opened a few years ago.

The location is the district of Causeway Bay, famous for the presence of international design and fashion brands. Inside the Cubus Building, the new space has an area of 400 square meters and immediately transmits the spirit of Boffi|De Padova thanks to a characteristic façade with geometric lines, generating a dynamic game of lights.

The new showroom reflects what has become a familiar tendency for premium Italian brands: the indispensable importance of physical stores in spite of the fact that the digital component continues to grow – it is no coincidence that these two dimensions, real and virtual, especially in the consumer sector, have blended to create a phygital hybrid.

The new Boffi|De Padova space offers an experiential tour, where the intense atmospheres highlight the products and their unique characteristics. The project, overseen by the Creative Division of Boffi|De Padova, wagers precisely on this approach, in a total panorama of lights, colors and details.

Organized on two levels with a window on the street, the store features an engaging range of architectural forms as well as materials, finishes and custom elements for the surfaces. The precise, identifying choice of soft lighting and a dominant tone of anthracite gray contributes to bring out proportions, tactile effects and distinctive styling in the group’s production, from Boffi kitchens to the furnishings of De Padova, all the way to the partition systems of ADL: three distinct voices that join forces in a fascinating aesthetic dimension.
