After Milan and London, Rimadesio opens its New York “home” during the week dedicated to design, in an exhibition concept marked by sober and minimalist colour palettes. A distinctive feature of all the single-brand stores of the made in Italy brand.
A new reference point in the North American market, the 600 square metre space conceived on two levels narrates the brand’s design vision characterised by meticulous attention to high quality and collections distinguished by a refined aesthetic imprint.

“We decided to invest in this important project two years ago,” Davide Malberti, CEO of Rimadesio, told us during the opening, “with the idea of further enhancing our design philosophy in the North American market and offering a complete vision of our collections. In September 2020 we chose this space on Madison Avenue as our New York home and founded Rimadesio USA Inc. A space that had to be completely redeveloped – the works lasted about 18 months – in which we carried out major interventions supervised by a New York architectural firm and a General Contractor who took care of every detail with great professionalism”.

Walk-in wardrobes, sliding panels, doors, and systems for the different areas of the home are flanked by tables and complements, including iconic products such as the Zenit bookcase and the Cover locking system, the new Self Plan system, the Cover Open wardrobe, and the numerous variations of the Modulor boiserie.
Designed by Andrea Pozzoli of Rimadesio Studio, the flagship reveals itself in all its refinement amidst sober colours, unusual details such as exposed concrete and a special focus on reducing energy consumption, in the name of environmental sustainability.

“An important opening,’ Davide Malberti continues, ‘which represents a strategic step in our development plan in North America, where we are already present with monobrand stores in Houston, Miami, and Chicago. A very important market for us, attentive to quality and always looking for customised design’. Conceived to offer design and consulting services, the flagship store also houses the operational offices of Rimadesio USA Inc. led by CEO Andrea Romano and President Luigi Malberti.
Located on the lower floor, the R-Academy, an area dedicated to technical and material aspects, also displays 264 finishes including marbles, fabrics, essences, and imitations to customise each product.
