Progetto Fuoco: record numbers and lots of design

The 2022 edition of Progetto Fuoco, the fair on biomass heating, has come to an end with record-setting numbers. 800 companies were on hand, with many new developments regarding technology and sustainability

Progetto Fuoco concludes this iteration in Verona, from 4 to 7 May, with a rush of optimism for the biomass heating industry, which accounts for turnover in Italy of 4 billion euros, with 14,000 companies. The event organized by Piemmeti brought together over 800 companies, with 32% from abroad: numbers in line with pre-Covid trends. The good results probably reflect the great interest that has emerged in recent times regarding wood and pellet heating systems.

Technological innovation and environmental sustainability were the central themes of Progetto Fuoco 2022. From stoves to hearths, boilers to barbecues, and wood and pellet systems.

A new brand for Edilkamin&Co.
Inside an engaging exhibition gallery, Edilkamin&Co. took the opportunity to present the new brand EK63: “An innovative line of products for the younger generations, with an eye on technological content, budget, and themes connected with environmental protection,” says the CEO Walter Breda. The smart approach can be seen in the design and in the digital outfitting of the new series, with avant-garde applications, controls and remote controls for intuitive use of the systems, optimizing comfort, efficiency and savings.

In the same context, the company also presented the very new “Digital Museum,” a real museum that narrates protagonists, products and achievements of the firm.

Palazzetti in&out
Many new collections were on view at Palazzetti, for both indoor and outdoor use. One new development of the company is Vivienne, the Ecofire® pellet stove with a perfectly circular design that offers a seductive view of the flame, though the unit is also elegant when not in use. The project stands out for the exclusive T3 platform, with total combustion brazier and an automatic cleaning system: the pellets are totally consumed, optimizing efficiency and drastically reducing the need for cleaning operations.

Warmth to watch with La Nordica-Extraflame
Completely new models and evolutions of already existing ones, in the lines Prestige, Evolution and Tradizionale, were seen at the stand of La Nordica-Extraflame. The Prestige Line (in the wood-burning category) includes the elegant Monoblocco 3LC, with a panoramic glass door on three sides, displaying the flame from every angle. Installations of great impact can be made with the triple-face unit, which becomes the true protagonist of any room.

The sustainable approach of Focus
Three icons transformed into eco-efficient hearths. The classics Gyrofocus, Ergofocus and Domofocus by Focus reflect the company’s path of transformation of its wood-burning stoves, with a triple objective: energy performance, eco-responsibility, and good design. Their sinuous, light forms are enhanced by equally curvy glass enclosure, sliding to the side without posts, to offer a perfect view of the flames while protecting against sparks.
