A bridge between past and future

Rigor, vision and geometry in the Ghisa family of radiators designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Antrax IT

Antrax IT, an international leader in the production of radiators that combine technology, energy savings and sustainable design, presents Ghisa, the result of a new collaboration with the designer Rodolfo Dordoni.

Essential and contemporary, Ghisa – the name refers to the cast iron with which radiators were once made – reflects Dordoni’s rigorous but also harmonious vision of design, inspired by traditional lines reinterpreted through avant-garde canons of expression. In spite of the name, which suggests an imaginary of days gone by, the Ghisa radiator family is made in 100% recyclable aluminium, with very low water content to optimize thermal performance.

The parts have a polygonal section tapered at the ends, and are connected by die-cast metal elements whose interlocks underscore the rhythmical sequence of full and empty zones.

Available with four or six segments, in a choice of different lengths, Ghisa offers a wide range of special colors selected by Dordoni himself, also in the embossed version. The units can be accessorized with hooks and towel racks in polished stainless steel.

Antrax IT, founded in 1996, has always focused on the reinvention of the world of heating, transforming the radiator from a banal functional presence to a décor feature of great aesthetic value. Over the years, the company has collaborated with internationally renowned designers like Piero Lissoni, Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, Marc Sadler and Massimo Iosa Ghini, just to name a few. Ghisa is the latest chapter of a long history of quality and value.
