Time to set sail in Miami

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show returns, from 16 to 20 February, bringing together the most important boat shows in Florida for the first time

Get ready to set sail. Because from 16 to 20 February the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is happening in Miami, for the first time bringing together the Miami Yacht Show, SuperYacht Miami and the Miami International Boat Show, events that attract over 100,000 visitors from about 35 countries, generating an estimated 1.34 billion dollars for the state – nearly the equivalent of hosting three Super Bowls.

Produced by Informa Markets and owned by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show 2022 will be the first stop on a calendar of the main winter yachting events in southern Florida.

Furthermore, the Miami 2022 event is the first fair to be combined with Discover Boating, the cross-generational North American lifestyle brand for yachting enthusiasts.

The event takes place in four new locations that flank the usual Miami Beach Convention Center, where the focus is on motor boats up to 49 feet in length. The portion on land will be held at the recently reinvented Convention Center, while the seagoing activities are offered at One Herald Plaza, which will host larger motor yachts ranging from 50 to 125 feet, along with tenders, motors and accessories. At Sea Isle Marina, it will be possible to test over 150 boats firsthand; Museum Park Marina provides previews of sailboats, catamarans and sailing accessories; while at Island Gardens Deep Harbor visitors can see the largest, most luxurious yachts.

“We are looking forward to delivering an unparalleled experience at the 2022 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show,” says Andrew Doole, president of US Boat Shows. “With our return to the Miami Beach Convention Center and alongside our partners at the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the 2022 boat show will be unlike any other winter boat show – and we can’t wait to bring together the boating and yachting community for an unforgettable event.”

The appointment has also been updated in terms of collateral events, such as the Boat Show Experience, where visitors will have access to the AquaZone presented by Nautical Ventures, as well as experiential nautical activities, entertainment, gourmet moments and a pavilion of marine accessories.

“For 80 years, the Miami International Boat Show has put boating in Miami on the international stage while welcoming boaters from across the globe. The 2022 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will provide the ultimate boat show experience in a first-of-its-kind all-city event in Miami and Miami Beach,” says Frank Hugelmeyer, President of NMMA.
