The new path for Leucos

The historic Veneto-based lighting company, just acquired by CLANN helmed by Abramo Manfrotto, launches a new strategy

What they share is light. For Abramo Manfrotto it is the photographic light of the history of his family business, connected with a passion for the production of accessories and solutions for photojournalists. For Leucos, it is the skill of craftsmen who have shaped glass in the glassworks for 60 years, perpetuating a local artistic tradition.
The new path of Leucos, now a brand of the CLANN group after the recent acquisition by Abramo Manfrotto, will be a contamination of different worlds and experiences. The products will have a timeless style, with glass as their characteristic signature, but they will also be involved in experimentation with new materials and equally distinctive techniques.

The aim is to return the company to its status as a reference point in the indoor lighting sector, with decorative lamps as the core offering, flanked by more technical products with an architectural approach, as well as ‘non-light’ accessories. The first moves include a new catalogue, a lamp designed by Patrick Jouin – with whom Leucos has already created various projects, such as the famous Ether – the reinterpretation of several iconic lamps like the Aella model designed by Toso&Massari, and the expansion of the JJ collection.

Leucos works together with outstanding designers and architects to produce innovative and tailor-made projects in the residential and contract sectors. From this point on, the company will be a laboratory of innovation to create beautiful, well-made, reliable, efficient and durable products.
“The long history of the brand provides us with experience, wisdom, a long-term perspective, determination and ability to adapt,” says Abramo Manfrotto. – My objective is to take the Leucos brand back to its former splendor, guaranteeing profitable and sustainable growth, respecting its values of craftsmanship and tradition while adding modernity, efficiency and technology. The strategy centers on innovative products and advanced methods, with a maximum focus on sustainability. It is my hope that the market will recognize Leucos as a solid, reliable, innovative company of the highest quality.”
