A prestigious dwelling, in an overall area of 1000 square meters, with luxurious private rooms for family relations and the most personal habits, alongside more formal zones for official occasions and for entertaining guests. This villa is located in the center of Johor Bahru, the lively metropolitan area of Malaysia that is directly connected to Singapore. It has been refurbished by the local studio Team BJ Design & Contracts Sdn Bhd, specialized for over 20 years in consulting for the field of interior design, above all in Southeast Asia.
To meet the requirements of the clients, fascinated by western trends, the architects and designers of Team BJ Design selected several of the finest Italian furniture makers.
Turri has furnished various spaces with personalized items, noble materials and exclusive details: the Eclipse collection – table, chairs, display cases, sideboards – for the dining zone, set aside for more formal occasions.
The office space is also a feature for public image, where the protagonist is the Vogue desk with its particular leather embroidery, wrapping the glossy lacquered wood, along with the Madison sideboard with its sinuous, circular lines.
Also in the master bedroom, Team BJ Design has chosen to mix elements from different collections: the Noir table, bed and bench, the Eclipse bedside unit and mirror, the Jolly chairs – all pieces that have soft, enveloping forms. In the nighttime zone, the range of custom fabrics and colors focuses on tones of beige and blue, a palette that brings a sensation of harmony and balance in the most intimate spaces of the home.
A more contemporary approach can be seen in the small parlor off the bedroom, with a sofa, a table and a TV cabinet from the Melting Light collection. The private living area features Eclipse tables and television cabinet.
