Please, have a seat. Biennale Interieur invites you to take a seat in a major exhibition-event that promises to be one of the most important temporary overviews of seating
An interactive itinerary, until 14 November at Kortrijk, Belgium, that retraces the history of chairs with the most famous models, translated into a gallery of over 200 chairs by the most important design brands, thus offering a complete overview of seating to date, as well as the evolution of this product type and the ways people use it.

The items include historic projects by the Danish masters Verner Panton and Arne Jacobsen, and more contemporary creations by Dirk Wijnants, Nendo, Jasper Morrison and Barber Osgerby, just to mention a few names. There are also more experimental and novel works by emerging talents. Many companies have pieces in the show, such as Arper, Ronaldo, Carl Hansen & Son, Dedon, Desalto, Fritz Hansen, Gandiablasco, Kettal, Lapalma, Lema, Ligne Roset, Magis, Pedrali, Poliform, Thonet GmbH, Vitra and many others.
A place in which to learn about the history of design, and to understand how chairs are being transformed. One of the most complex design challenges, a chair can provide inspiration for interiors, ranging from historic milestones to the creations of young talents on their way to fame in the future.
