Timeless design. Tucroma was created in 1971 by Guido Faleschini to be produced by the company 4 Mariani. Already innovative in its time, the chair stood out for the careful leatherwork of its covering, gauged to bring out the structure in steel tubing.
Today, exactly 50 years later and still in production, the piece conserves all its industrial, modern charm. Its graphic image is still forceful and distinctive, its tradition of craftsmanship irreplaceable, with a strong identity.
The company has decided to pay homage to this remarkable long-term success, creating a reissue that updates both finishes and colors. The steel structure remains the same, in its smooth continuity, along with the leather covering and the cowhide belting that bind its profile.

The novelties include new structural variants, now available with epoxy powder coating in any RAL color, with a matte finish, as well as four new metallized hues with embossed finish (white, green, brown and black).
Conserving the brilliance of chrome, the “classic” shiny chrome finish is now joined by four new colored chrome finishes in red, gold, bronze and black.
The coverings also extend into new variations: next to the single-color version, the chair now offers the possibility of combining contrasting hues on the back and seat in over 100 types of leather, 300 fabrics and 60 variants of the cowhide belting.

Originally designed as a complete line for the living area and bedroom zone, Tucroma has entered some of the world’s most prestigious homes, like the historic Sheats-Goldstein Residence; the model is a favorite of stars like Lenny Kravitz, Rihanna and Fiona Apple.
