How are workspaces changing, with their layouts and furnishings? How is our way of working being transformed, at the office or at home? The chance to discover new ideas in this sector is offered by Workspace Expo, the fair in Paris from 5 to 7 October, at the fair facility of Paris Porte de Versailles. The exhibitors present solutions for organizing and personalizing the office, reception areas, meeting rooms, boardrooms, but also outdoor areas, lounges, cafes and break zones, and home working set-ups. Not just furniture, but also lighting systems, mobile partitions and dividers, sound-absorbing panels and cabins, all the way to landscaping and decoration.
Lapalma @ Workspace Paris
Among the many Italian brands taking part: Artek, Artemide, Caimi, Et Al, Fantoni, Faram, Unifor and Lapalma, which offers flexible, versatile collections designed to adapt to the most dynamic and fluid situations, also in temporary and shared settings, for the light office and home working. New developments include the new Oiva wooden chair by Antti Kotilainen, featuring a comfortable back in curved plywood, matched with the Ori table by Romano Marcato, in two heights (108 and 74 cm), also available in a version prepared for wiring, with legs that hide the cables and sockets.
Sinetica
Also on hand in Paris, Gruppo MIG – Mezzalira Investment presents new items by the six brands of the Veneto-based industrial group, i.e. Jesse, Sinetica, Sitland, Rotaliana, Mascagni and Rexite, shown in two different areas inside the group’s booth at Pavilion 7.2 (G56-H57), and in a special space set up by the architect Karl Petit, Espace Tendence, dominated by the power and elegance of white. Among the names Made in Italy, Estel presents Squid, a desk designed by Francesco Favaretto and Estel Design for the home office, to which to apply a divider to create a niche of privacy.

Foreign exhibitors at the fair: among the many names, we can mention Kettal, Moooi, Viccarbe, Vitra, Walter Knoll and Casala, the Dutch company that offers the Tonica collection of multifunctional storage ottomans designed by Favaretto & Partners, containing single or double seating, an island version, a surface for working anywhere, and a practical object compartment for tablets and magazines, also with the possibility of wiring.
