VanDutch 32: flying on the sea

It can hydroplane even at moderate speed, with an exceptional level of on-board comfort: the new entry level vessel of the VanDutch line by Cantiere del Pardo has a specially redesigned hull

Beam: 9,51 ft / 2,90 m
Draft: 3 ft / 0,91 m
Displacement: 9.920,8 lbs / 4,5 t
Passengers: 8
Fuel tank capacity: 100 G / 400 l
Fresh water capacity : 20 G / 76 l

Engines: Standard: 1 x Volvo v8 430-CE gasoline; Optional:
 2 x Volvo V6 280-CE gasoline,1 x Volvo D6-380/DPI Diesel, 2 x Volvo D4300/DPI Diesel

It seems to glide in the air, just above the water. The VanDutch 32 is a new boat from the Dutch brand acquired last year by the Forlì-based Cantiere del Pardo shipyard. The high construction quality of Made in Italy is fully embodied by this concentrate of peerless comfort, nautical technology and refined lines, ready to welcome up to eight guests.

The volumes on deck are larger and more versatile, thanks to a complete redesign of the hull in terms of width, length and height, for a freeboard that is more secure in the walkways. The new architecture permits greater freedom to reach the sundeck zone, to relax on the stern platform, have a swim and then come back on board with ease. The deck is thus transformed into a terrace, with the sensation of a poolside area.

Life on board is extremely comfortable thanks to the practical adjustable sun cots and backs, for a relaxed experience on the sea. Other advantages include glass holders always within easy reach, high-quality audio systems and diffused lighting throughout the deck.

There is a bar for preparing cocktails, an ample refrigerator for foods and beverages, and a practical sink that vanishes under the seat of the sofa. Every aesthetic detail can be personalized, with a wide range of fabrics for the cushions, and colors that bring unique character to the painting of the hull.

Total safety on the sea is guaranteed by on-board instrumentation created by Garmin Marine with the EmpirBus technology, an innovative platform for simplified navigation. A single console, with the choice of the Garmin 12” multifunctional display (standard) or the optional 16” version, coordinates all the automation, including operation of the lighting, the stereo system and the climate control. The result is a bridge of extremely clean form, where mechanical controls are replaced by digital commands activated from the display.

The new developments on the VD 32 are also echoed by another debut: the opening of a VanDutch Italia showroom at Moniga, an exclusive location on Lake Garda, and a perfect showcase for the Italian and European markets.
