Caimi speaks, and people listen

During Milano Design Week, Caimi takes part with a success story and two new developments where technique and color blend into function and decorative impact

The seemingly unstoppable wave of products designed to combine indoor and outdoor use has prompted Caimi to underscore its presence at the Supersalone with the milestone success story of Socrate Outdoor by Mario Trimarchi and the in-house Lab, together with two new offerings in tune with the company’s focus on acoustics and color: Snowgems and Snowpouf.

Snowgems by Caimi, Design a+b

Snowgems, designed by Annalisa Dominoni and Benedetto Quaquaro of a+b, is a series of sound-absorbing panels also available with different forms and very compact sizes, mounted on a light structure of multiple architectural parts, connected to each other like the gems – as the name implies – of a necklace. A solution that brings aesthetics and functional quality together in elegant balance.

Snowpouf by Caimi, Design Paola Navone

Snowpouf, designed by Paola Navone, is a pouf with soundproofing properties that resembles a Chinese drum: this antithesis between (noisy) form and (silent) character, together with a vast range of color options (always a feature of Paola Navone’s design), closes the circle of a product that can be utilized anywhere.

Snowgems and Snowpouf have many guises: they can exist in a traditional office, but also in residential settings where smart working will take on an increasingly important role.
