The 5 senses of Keope space

Technique, suggestions, colors, forms and shadings: the 5 senses drive the strategy of Ceramiche Keope, with its new pavilion

Founded as a technical company in 1995 specialized in the production of stoneware with finishes connected with various types of stone and marble, Ceramiche Keope – part of Gruppo Concorde – immediately stood out for its novel approach, and today the company proposes ceramic concepts connected with the idea of indoor-outdoor living, in solutions for open-air settings that also continue into indoor settings.
The outdoor-to-indoor passage has prompted Keope to create new, more design-oriented finishes, first of all those of concrete: today the premium collection of Keope’s range is Moov, and it is precisely a concrete-like finish.

“Double-digit growth for Keope, and the first digit is not a 1,” says the marketing manager Paolo Cesana. “This has been a very positive year for ceramic tile in general, but without the right products it is still easy to lose that advantage fast. Over the years Keope has chosen a precise profile, which makes it recognizable for many unique features.”

23 collections (which will increase to 25 at Cersaie) and 14 formats are the new calling cards of Ceramiche Keope, which has mixed products and finishes to meet the needs of the residential, contract, hospitality and public sectors. Sales are now reported at 75% for the export market and 25% in Italy, in a trend of overall growth.

The new Pavilion, in a location independent from the production site, is the “appetizer” for the new building that will arrive in the next few years, acting as a customized headquarters. The Ceramiche Keope Pavilion, designed by Pierluigi Molteni, reinforces the in & out concept and offers an outdoor theme garden created by Liliana Leonardi, combining a selection of stoneware interpretations by Keope with botanical corners for a walking tour that conveys concepts that would otherwise be hard to narrate: the solidity of stoneware blends with the simple confidence of nature.
The message is in perfect harmony with the company’s programs, with a closer approach to the world of design – for some years now, but especially over the last one – to soften up its image by mixing it with increasingly “smooth” settings.

The Pavilion, in its indoor part, complies with the canons required by those who produce and sell ceramic tile: the potential of the company is illustrated in a few square meters, in the order and organization of formats and finishes, for an almost spontaneous itinerary of instant comprehension in every single stage.

Ceramiche Keope represents an appealing freezer-frame of the infinite world of ceramics, a snapshot that moves through the alphabet of the senses: five very personal impressions, shared by the company and its customers.
