3D marble facings for unique walls

Margraf, the Vicenza-based company with over 100 years of history, presents a collection of 3D surfaces in precious stone varieties, from Bianco Carrara to Fior di Pesco Carnico

Walls are enlivened by theatrical and iridescent 3D marble surfaces. This is the new collection of 3D decorative facings by Margraf, offered in precious Bianco Carrara, Bianco Siberia, Crema Nuova, Jolie Grey, Lipica Fiorito and Fior di Pesco Carnico marble. The company owns the only existing quarry in the world for the latter variety.

The wide range of textures – Onda, Clessidra, Scanalata, Dune, Wing (1, 2, 3) – is available with a glossy mirror finish or a buffed matte surface, with a reduced thickness starting at 3 centimeters, to facilitate transport and installation on the wall, performed without any particular attachment systems, using only simple marble glue.

Marble, a natural material with over 200 million years of history, is a facing that is unique for its beauty, variety, origin, composition and strength. An element that has always been a protagonist in the history of décor, selected as a synonym for quality, rarity, exoticism and refined atmosphere. Always different, inimitable, metamorphic, marble personalized interiors with games of forms and chiaroscuro effects, sinuous motifs, unexpected movements and physical textures, transforming walls from mere vertical space dividing rooms or supporting structures into artistic masterpieces to be enjoyed, conveying constantly different emotions.

The collection is the result of the constant stylistic and technological research of Margraf, a historic company founded in 1906 in the province of Vicenza, at Chiampo, specialized in expert extraction of stone blocks from the firm’s quarries, and their transformation into polished slabs or small tiles. Margraf is skilled in the shaping of marble, with the ingenuity of man combined with complex numerically controlled machines of the latest generation. New technologies make it possible to obtain effects that would be impossible with hands and chisel, as in the past, enabling extreme precision in the workmanship, with a sustainable approach that reduces scrap to a minimum, thus reducing the consumption of natural resources. With Margraf, past and present meet with the aim of safeguarding the environment, thanks to technologically advanced equipment, projects of landscape recovery, and investment in energy savings through the use of renewable resources.
