GAN | Isla

With the Isla project for GAN, Sebastian Herkner explores the concept of modular design for outdoor living

ISLA by GAN, Design Sebastian Herkner

GAN concentrates on new projects for outdoor contexts, and with Isla the company launches a new collaboration with the German designer Sebastian Herkner. Isla is a sofa in technical fabric organized in three different modules with irregular forms and comfortable volumes, Menorca, Gomera and Arosa, which can be utilized independently, but also to create more complex configurations, with an elegant back that seems to act as a curtain.

The pieces adapt to any space, and combined with small tables that create a lively setting with touches of color and comfort. Every item is covered in technical outdoor fabric, with 100% quick-drying foam filler. The three Isla modules come in seven combinable colors: coral, sand, seashell, blue, green, silver and garnet.
