Cape Town
Colonial splendor gets a new lease on life in the renovation of the historic Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, a 5-star property in the capital of South Africa first opened in 1899. Classical elegance meets a modern reinterpretation to generate a sophisticated but welcoming interior with a wealth of decorative features and warm, intense hues. The concept goes perfectly with the Arbor collection, starting with the Arbor Side Chairs placed on the picturesque veranda, a convivial place for relaxation. The Victorian style speaks the same language as the hotel, through seating, sofas and dining tables. A linear modern touch is added by the Azimuth Cross Armchairs in the open-plan area.

Rome
Near the famous Trevi fountain, the Westin Excelsior stands out with its cupola, as an emblem of lifestyle Made in Italy. Baroque atmosphere pervades the spaces, from the hall to the famous Villa La Cupola Suite, an apartment of 1000 sqm recently restyled by Pascale Julian, Corporate Director of Interior Design of Katara Hospitality. This is the exceptional setting for the offerings of JANUS et Cie, especially the minimal design of the Amalfi collection in steel, the linear graphic impact of Azimuth, and the enveloping weave of the Strada line: creations that add to a memorable experience, along with the breathtaking view of the Roman skyline.
Singapore
In the Raffles Hotel one perceives the city’s open and international green spirit, in a tropical climate. The concept has changed since the original bungalow layout in 1887, which offered only 10 rooms: today the facility has 115 suites and one Presidential suite, all carefully restyled in a two-year project by the studio Champalimaud Design in collaboration with Aedas Singapore, Beca, and Studio Lapis.

The result is a luminous, relaxing setting that suggests exploration and engagement, accentuating the historical importance of the site while addressing a new generation of travelers. This is the context for the Deauville II Chaises Lounges in the pool area, together with the Inlaid Side Tables, for a touch of sophistication in the outdoor bar, featuring the classic silhouettes of the chairs and stools of the Amalfi collection.

A window on the ocean. This is the spirit of Grand Velas Los Cabos, a resort with an immersive atmosphere, serving up uninterrupted views of the horizon. In this splendid natural setting, Ernesto Vela of Ernesto Vela Arquitectos has approached the interior design with a refined, green touch, adding lively details to enhance the ethereal spaces and tropical ambience. JANUS et Cie is a part of this exclusive paradise, inside the Velas 10 restaurant, with the Arbor, Amari, Baguette, Roxy and Strada collections, whose tactile and aesthetic impact accentuates the sensorial experience of the location.
