Snaidero yields Rational to the Bravat group

An operation that puts the focus back on the Snaidero brand

Gruppo Snaidero has announced its exit from the activities, operations and brands RationalRegina and Mahlzeit by Rational, in an asset deal with the international Bravat group based in Linden, Germany. The agreement calls for continuation of production of Rational kitchens for the German market over the next three years in the plant at Majano, in the province of Udine, the location of the company’s headquarters.

The reasoning behind the merger addresses “a presence on the German market, through the Rational affiliate, that is no longer strategic for the group, due to useless and inefficient overlaps in both retail distribution and contract operations, on a European and global level, with the Snaidero brand.”

Rational, in fact, founded in 1963 as a German affiliate of Gruppo Rino Snaidero, produces and markets tailor-made kitchens on an international level, with annual turnover of about 18 million euros.

The move will therefore “enable us to concentrate on the growth of the Snaidero brand on a global level, and of the trademarks Arthur Bonnet and Comera, on the French market – says Massimo Manelli, CEO of Snaidero – focusing our energies on research and the creation of unique products, a summary of functional quality and sustainability, capable of combining design, distinctive flair and style, to offer kitchen products that fulfill the expectations of our clients, while boosting our level of service. We can say that this operation marks a definitive turning point with respect to the past, forcefully projecting the group into the future.”
