In an ongoing exchange between design and philosophical thought, the Milan showroom on Via Santa Cecilia hosts the installation Amor Fati, Elena Salmistraro interprets the world of Cappellini.
From 12 to 23 April, the exhibition space presents, through the hyper-decorative language of the designer, a story about the concept of ‘love of fate’ as a solution with which to cope with the unexpected conditions of existence.

Starting from a concept embraced by Nietzsche and the Stoics, according to which active acceptance of destiny was the only path towards happiness and greatness, Elena Salmistraro creates a dimension in which to immerse visitors, offering inspiration – guided by the big serpent that is the very symbol of the Amor Fati, stimulated by visual and chromatic layering to suggest the opposing forces involved.
The intense colors of the frame mix with the natural, sophisticated tones of sand and gray, enlivened by details in yellow, green, blue, and the indispensable black, in an installation curated by Giulio Cappellini.

Not just games of color, but also culture and emotions, at the connection point with Cappellini, which bases its design experience on these values, capable of putting man back at the center of his living space.
This introspective voyage features new products designed by Jasper Morrison, Cyril Dunděra & Matěj Janský, Francesco Forcellini and Giulio Cappellini, as well as some of the brand’s icons, like Juli, Easy, Riga, El Paso, Arya, Lud’o.
