Minotti opens in Stockholm

On the very central Strandvägen, this is the brand’s first point of sale in Scandinavia

In the exclusive residential district of Östermalm, inside one of the impressive 19th-century buildings on the very central Strandvägen: this is the location, on one of Stockholm’s most prestigious streets, where Minotti has opened a new flagship store, its first in Scandinavia, in partnership with the local dealer Upgrade Living.

Spacious interiors lit by large arched windows, travertine floors, paneling and planking in mocha-colored oak, alternate with white plaster walls and a theatrical slab of Panda marble, for a dynamic black&white effect.

“We thought about how Minotti could take its place inside a context where design has a strong identity and a long history, keeping the DNA of the brand intact while also creating something original,” says Susanna Minotti, Head of Interior Decoration. “We wanted to stand out and to offer a new reference point for design in the city, bringing the Minotti atmosphere and interacting with Scandinavian rigor and simplicity. The result is a project in which architectural understatement is warmed up by welcoming settings with a domestic tone, but also sophisticated and glamorous, where every single detail speaks of exceptional quality.”

The project has been carried out by Minotti Studio, the in-house creative division, and guides visitors to discover the latest collections of the brand, in a display itinerary that winds through a fluid sequence of living, dining and bedroom areas. Among the offerings on view, a selection of bestsellers and new entries of the 2020 Collection, including the Connery and Blazer seating systems by Rodolfo Dordoni, as well as projects created by Marcio Kogan, Nendo and GamFratesi.
