“I have envisioned this space not as a showroom, but as a sort of design lab,” says Francesco Rota, art director of Lapalma, talking about the new Lapalma for Architects facility opened in the 5vie district, at Via Gorani 8 in Milan, ready for Milano Designer’s Week (12-23 April 2021). “An address in Milan where we can meet with architects, offering not just suggestions but also detailed solutions. The world of Lapalma, under a magnifying glass,” Rota adds.

Lapalma for Architects is next to Riviera, the first Milanese address of the Veneto-based company: “With Riviera we adopted an innovative concept of connected space, open to creativity, where our offerings are at the service of people and encounters,” says Romano Marcato, founder and owner of Lapalma, with his brother Dario. “With Lapalma for Architects, on the other hand, we take a more concrete approach of interaction with designers, to narrate the particular virtues of our collections, our way of working, our production quality, our worlds of reference.”

Next to the key spaces of the brand Home & Lounge, Café and Light Office, organized in a fluid setting interrupted only by micro-perforated panels, dominated by warm tones of red and orange combined with sand gray, Lapalma for Architects also features a wall that gets right to the crux of any project, thanks to the Material Lab, a display of samples of materials and finishes, and the Tech Lab, a showcase of the brand’s technology and innovations, from the extruded aluminium framework to the die-cast joints of the Add System, all the way to the systems of connection and assembly.
