A coffee break with Cersaie

An informal explorative chat about various themes addressed by Cersaie and sector journalism, from architecture to design, trends to new products. Also with IFDM at the mike

We talked about wellness and hôtellerie, sustainability and eco-materials; trends in ceramics, new materials and applications in architecture. But much still remains to be discovered. The opportunity was that of the Café della Stampa, offering moments of informal discussion organized by Cersaie, with the on-screen presence of renowned personalities of sector publishing, protagonists of the Italian scene and elsewhere, including architects, interior designers and product designers.

The opportunity was to spend a coffee break in the company of the makers and narrators of the changes currently in progress, laying the groundwork for the October edition of the event, with all of its novelties; an approach that has met with great success in recent months, and will continue in the month of February.

A virtual appointment, every Thursday at 14.00: the conversations are live on the Zoom platform, by reservation only.

This wide-ranging scenario that connects publishing and the world of design includes the presence of IFDM, invited to take part in the next episode of the series, on Thursday 11 February. The theme of the moment is “Aesthetics: Color Trend Design Stories”: Paolo Bleve, editor-in-chief of IFDM, and Judith van Vliet, senior designer and team leader of ColorWorks™ EMEA, will intertwine stories of design and aesthetics with new color trends, to bring out unusual dimensions and harmonies inside domestic and hospitality spaces.

The partnership between IFDM and the business unit of Aviant has continued for years now, and the .Wonder Projects&Hospitality Book bears witness to each edition, with an annual preview of color trends and the related “Stories” from which they take form.
