The 2021 edition of CES in Las Vegas has come to an end, conducted for the first time as an entirely digital event. This is the leading platform on innovation and technology, and this year it lived up to its reputation. For five days, visitors saw extraordinary offerings by the leading international brands and startups in the sectors of home automation, smart devices, interactive TV, 3D video games, energy and automotive applications, for a literal leap into the future.
Hot topics in this virtual fair included artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, Big Data and the future of work, translating into 5G, smart homes, connected cars, wearable technology and virtual reality, among other developments.
Some of these innovations had even greater impact this year, if seen as foreground solutions to improve our relationship with the home environment and office spaces.
First of all, the new ideas of Lenovo: the new Think Reality A3 smart glasses can be connected to a PC and to various smartphone models, for industrial and business use. The permit 3D viewing, augmented reality, intensive training, remote teamwork and much more, enabling users to take their workspace almost anywhere.

The American brand Kohler (which stood out last year by presenting a shower with built-in Echo Dot speaker, Moxie Kohler), has launched a bathtub with a vocal assistant for 2021: it changes the color of the LEDs, activates fog and mist effects, regulates temperature and permits remote on-off.
The Italian startup DiCEWorld launched DiCE SMART at the previous edition, namely a system that through light and colors communicates what is happening in the home, or sends smartphone alerts when the user is away, while controlling consumption and offering other remote functions. This year the company presented DiCE CARE, which monitors daily routines, indicating anomalies while functioning as a memo device.
There were great expectations for the debut of the new Samsung TV series with Neo QLED (leading models 8K and 4K), featuring a new light source, the Quantum Mini LED. The TV thus becomes an ideal support for smart working, offer smart functions, group video conferencing, the PC on TV function, and even a fitness program with its own app. All with the highest quality of visuals.

In the area of televisions, we should also mention the new Display Printed Scrolling OLED 17-inch technology presented by TCL: with a thickness of just 0.18mm, it is a unique example of flexible display technology.
Last but not least, there was also the first smartphone model with a roll-up screen, by LG.
