“Pure heaven for beach lovers”

The claim of Smiths Beach Resort, recently renovated by JCY Architects & Urban Designers in collaboration with Mobilia, is an invitation to a total experience made of luxury, nature and design, on the pristine beaches of a national park in southwestern Australia

Not by chance, Smiths Beach Resort, an award-winning member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels Of The World, continues to seduce visitors. Located in a national park, between the promontories of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in southwestern Australia, the facility offers high standards of beauty and enjoyment (it is also in the Margaret River wine region), which have been boosted by the recent renovation.

The painstaking operation has been carried out by JCY Architects & Urban Designers, completely respecting the natural setting by inserting diversified lodgings – villas, apartments, beach houses – discreetly designed to bring the outdoors inside, thanks to full-height windows that offer views of a landscape in constant evolution. Zero-impact is also the parameter of the updated interiors, developed – together with the owners of the resort – by Mobilia, an Australian brand that supplies premium international design furniture.

The understated contemporary décor, including extremely sturdy pieces due to the exposure to weathering, relies on earth tones of oak and gray, together with touches of blue and green, corresponding to the purity of the Indian Ocean and the lush nature of the site. Some of the furnishings have been specially designed, custom-made by local manufacturers, contributing to the unique character of this 6-star resort. In the outdoor zones, the selection has gone to the collections Triconfort Riba by Kettal Studio, Kettal Landscape by Kettal Studio, Zigzag by Emilia Design Studio, with outdoor cushions in Terrain & Geometrics Fabrics by Doshi Levien.
