Dooor | Torri Lana

The key to innovation is recognition of the past: this new textile folding door is a tribute to Gianfranco Frattini’s talent and work

As an iconic design element of the 1960s, as shown in several projects of the time by major Italian and international designers, the folding door is once again a versatile and innovative element for contemporary design in the new version by Emanuela Frattini Magnusson, daughter of the designer. A tribute to the aesthetic and functional research of Gianfranco Frattini, the textile pattern comes from the architect’s archives and highlights the craftsmanship and expertise of Torri Lana. In the textile element by Dooor different creative experiences converge: craftsmanship, design and construction of space. Three apparently distant realities, telling the same story.
